Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore held a rally in Hong Lim Park on the afternoon of April 22, 2013, to commemorate the peaceful appeal 14 years ago on April 25, 1999.

Practitioners display many posters and paintings to expose the brutality of the persecution.
President of the Singapore Association of Falun Dafa Dr. Huang Weiqiang, spoke about the truth of 425 appeal 14 years ago, and called on people to pay attention to the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Practitioner Freddy Wong was a manager before he retired. He said that practicing Falun Gong brings him health and a harmony family.
Today, he must go out and tell the truth about Falun Gong to fellow citizens.
Computer consultant Victor SIA said the Chinese Communist Party imposed brutal persecution on tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners. People should lend a hand and condemn such atrocities.
In the evening, many nearby office workers walked by the park. At this time, Falun Gong practitioners stepped forward to explain the persecution depicted in the paintings. Many people were interested reading the truth materials, and started conversations with the practitioners.
One tourist from China, Mr. Cheng, told reporters he was very excited after witnessing this scenario. He said that people should not choose silence for selfish purposes.

在活动现场，芳林公园的草坪上树立起多个大型中英文标语牌，上面写着：“四二五和平上访十四周年”，“制止中共活体摘取法轮功学员器官”，“法轮大法好”、“世界需要真善忍”等字样，明确地向公众传递了讲真相反迫害的心声。近百名学员身穿黄色的炼功服，排出整齐的队列习炼五套功法。在草坪外侧的人行道旁，摆放着多幅“真善忍”国际美术展的油画作品以及介绍法轮功和讲述迫害真相的中英文展览板。
在集会上，新加坡法轮佛学会会长黄威强博士代表全体学员发言。他简要介绍了十四年前万名法轮功学员和平上访的真相，并且呼吁公众的关注和支持。他表示，帮助正义与善良其实也是在帮助自己。只有解体中共，才能停止迫害。
学员Freddy Wong退休前在新加坡氧气公司担任经理。他表示，修炼法轮大法使他身体健康，家庭和睦。今天，他必须要走出来告诉同胞们法轮功的真相。
电脑顾问Victor Sia表示，中共对成千上万的善良的法轮功学员施以残酷的迫害，人们都应该谴责这样的暴行，伸出援手。
傍晚时分，许多在附近的上班族下班路过公园，他们好奇地停下脚步观望炼功的人群，或是流连在油画架前沉思。这时，站在一旁的法轮功学员便走上前去，为他们讲解画作中所表现的迫害惨剧或是展板上呈现的内容。不少公众很感兴趣地接过了真相材料，并和学员们攀谈起来。
一位从大陆来到狮城旅游的郑先生激动地告诉记者，能够亲眼目睹海外法轮功学员炼功讲真相的情景，他感到非常激动。他表示，人们不应出于自私的目的而选择沉默。大家都应该起来反对中共的暴政，发出声音，支持正义。
